Black Friday Howard Leight R-01526 was my second purchase of this set of hearing protection, the primary set broke because of having lost my cool functioning on an aircraft attributable to another incompetent employee, however I digress. I purchased these attributable to my enjoyment of the primary combine, I had the second combine since concerning March 2010. As of September twenty two, 2011, I used Black Friday Howard Leight R-01526 to be driving a foklift with these on my ears, and that i noticed a creaking sound coming back from the headscarf, I looked around, not entirely certain where the noise was coming back from, when suddenly i used to be given a awfully rude popping sound. The plastic of the headscarf snapped in half! The sharp purpose of the plastic punctured the comfort portion of the headscarf and left a nasty gouge in my domepiece. 2 staples later, I used Black Friday Howard Leight R-01526 to be forced to throw these away. Up till that time, I actually have had no complaints concerning this set, i'm unsure what caused it to possess enough stress to snap in 0.5, I didnt bang them against anything/throw them etc. i'm hesitant on shopping for them once more, I could attempt the peltor equivelant, or one similar. This fits nice below a ballistic helmet, and when new, the sound cancelling works well. I simply want it didnt gouge into my skull.
